William Kaufman, D.O.

Dr. Kaufman is one of the earlier partners in Shore Area ObGyn. He did his residency at Monmouth Medical Center where he is an adjunct professor at Drexel University, He spends many hours mentoring the next generation of Ob Gyns and has been given many awards for this. Dr. Kaufman is board certified through The College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kaufman has delivered thousands of babies in the shore area and now gets a chuckle from delivering their babies. 

In his spare time, Dr. Kaufman enjoys exercising with long walks and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.  

Dr. Sun was next in line to become a partner in Shore Area ObGyn. Dr. Sun also did his residency at Monmouth Medical Center where he was chief resident. Dr. Sun is an adjunct professor at Drexel University and spends many hours teaching the next generation of residents to become fully functioning independent practitioners. Dr. Sun is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Sun has served as the President of the Medical Staff before holding many positions on the board. Dr. Sun has won numerous awards for the compassionate care he gives his patients. 

In his spare time, Dr. Sun enjoys the golf course and is very involved with his children’s ice hockey experiences.

“Mariflor” has been a midwife for many years in our area. She is a teacher at Monmouth Medical Center and is in charge of the clinic there. She also works as Visiting Nurse. We are delighted that she brings her warmth, sense of humor, and expertise to our patients. She has made an easy transition into our practice and our patients appreciate her feminine perspective. 

“Ally” has recently joined Shore Area ObGyn after working a decade in women’s services at Monmouth Medical Center. Ally has worked with over 6500 new moms a year making sure all their needs had been met. As the director of the Mother-Baby unit, Ally worked hard to bring the highest level of safety to the unit. Ally is also a certified breastfeeding counselor. Ally brings a wide breadth of knowledge to our patients while maintaining her friendly and warm style. 



Ally is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed with The Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
